In an effort to align the instituteโs training modalities with the ever-evolving market demands, an advisory body comprising institute management and partner industries was established today. The main objectives of the event were to address current challenges and propose solutions related to OJT practices, curriculum relevance, training approaches, and industrial tours.
The discussion also focused on the way forward, emphasizing collaboration through guest lectures, staff attachments, and expertise sharing between the institute and industry partners. During the meeting, the Proprietor of UD Construction from Bumthang was appointed as the Chairperson of the advisory body.
The meeting proved to be highly productive, with members agreeing to convene at least twice a yearโeither online or in person. The institute extends its sincere appreciation to the participating industriesโJattu Wood Industry, UD Construction, Druk Menjong Wood Industry, and Tenzin Wood Industriesโfor their valuable time and contribution to this important initiative.
