The National Certificate Level 2 course provide the school leavers with generic and industry specific skills that will enable trainees to be immediately productive in the industry. This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes of an individual to become competent mason in accordance with industry standards. Upon completion of this course the graduates will be able to work in the construction industry where they can perform masonry works such as: performing basic reinforcement work, performing laying bricks, blocks and stones, performing concrete work, performing plastering work, performing tiles and mosaic flooring works. In the process of performing different services, the individual will be also able to demonstrate professionalism and safety practices. To obtain the qualification of Masonry NC2, all modules and learning outcomes prescribed for this qualification must be achieved.
