The Construction Carpentry National Certificate Level 2 qualification recognizes the skills and knowledge required for individuals working as skilled construction carpenters.
This course is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for an individual to become competent as a Construction Carpenter in accordance with industry standards.
Upon completion of this course, graduates will be able to work in the construction industry, performing various construction services such as: Performing woodwork, Constructing and removing formwork and scaffolding, Carrying out ceiling, flooring, partition, and staircase construction work, Constructing doors, windows, and shutters, Performing roofing work, Performing repair and maintenance of civil works
Additionally, the course will prepare graduates to comply with regulatory and organizational requirements for practicing Occupational Health and Safety procedures.
To obtain the qualification of Construction Carpentry NC2, all modules and learning outcomes prescribed for this qualification must be achieved.
